Showing up is easy because each day you walk in there’s a new workout on the board, something you might only ever see once in your life. A combination of metabolic and strength movements that will leave you tired and exhilarated.
Showing up is easy because you know you can scale the workout up or down to find the right level for you. It doesn’t matter how strong, weak, inflexible, or brittle you may be, there’s a solution for you.
Showing up is easy because you see results, and it doesn’t take long.
Doing the work is easy because each day is new, hard and interesting.
Doing the work is easy because there’s a clock constantly asking you to go faster, to improve, to strive.
Doing the work is easy because once you’re in it, once the music is turned up, the clock is ticking, the person next to you is moving faster, the barbells are clanking, the coach is yelling… you just can’t help yourself, you push!
Doing the work is easy because it feels good, because your body is meant to work.
And Rest? Rest is easy because when you’re done, you’re F-ing tired, you’ve worked hard and improved yourself. And because you could really, really, really use a nap and a good night’s sleep.
